The Boca Raton Cultural Consortium’s mission is to raise the public’s awareness of the quality, diversity and impact of arts and cultural programs on the community. The fifteen not-for-profit member organizations provide a wide array of programming for all ages.

Downtown’s exquisite, gold-domed Historic Town Hall houses the Boca Raton Historical Society & The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum, which showcases Boca’s unique history through exhibitions, historic photos, tours and programming. The Historical Society also sponsors Boca Bacchanal, a community-wide wine and food festival, in March of each year. The Schmidt Family Centre for the Arts at Mizner Park presents its annual Festival of the Arts Boca.  This is a magnificent ten-day celebration of music, and literature.  Surrounded by green space & a colonnade, Mizner Park Amphitheater features a variety of concerts and events for audiences of all ages year-round!

Anyone seeking live performance can enjoy an abundance of quality programs in the heart of Boca Raton. Each year, Boca Ballet Theatre presents three productions featuring local dance students and renowned guest artists. The internationally recognized HARID Conservatory features a variety of classical and contemporary ballets in its winter and spring dance performances.  

The SYMPHONIA, South Florida’s World Class Chamber Orchestra, presents its critically acclaimed Connoisseur Concert Series that offers distinctive programing featuring nationally and internationally renowned conductors and soloists. The Youth Orchestra of Palm Beach County provides young musicians with exceptional music education and performance experiences while developing an appreciation of classical music within the community. Under the direction of Lorraine Marks-Field, the Florida Intergenerational Orchestra of America's mission is to bring generations together with music and musical performance. Lynn University hosts more than 50 performances which include the world-class faculty and students of the Conservatory of Music, the well regarded Philharmonia Orchestra and the theatrical excellence of Libby Dodson’s Live at Lynn.

The Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters at Florida Atlantic University offers more than 30 concerts, 10 plays and dance productions, several exhibitions with local and national artists, lectures and many other special events throughout the year. The Wick Theatre produces Broadway quality musicals starring award-winning casts!

For those interested in the visual arts, the Boca Raton Museum of Art presents changing exhibitions of national and international importance, and a wide range of educational programs, lectures, gallery tours, an artists’ guild with a membership of more than 250 local working artists, a studio art school with more than 100 classes offered each week and an annual outdoor art festival featuring 250 of the nation’s top artisans. Its permanent collection includes a superb assembly of modern masters including works by Degas, Matisse, Picasso and Seurat, an outstanding photography collection and important collections of Pre-Columbian and African art.

At the Sugar Sand Park, families can enjoy the Children’s Science Explorium, a hands-on science center designed for children ages 5-12 with fascinating interactive exhibits, programs and camps. Willow Theatre, nestled inside Sugar Sand Park, gives each audience member a close-up view of outstanding, professional entertainment. Programming at the theatre includes main stage, family shows, and a summer children’s series–an ideal venue for all ages and interests!

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, a coastal and marine preserve includes living wonders from the ocean, such as exotic tropical fish, sharks and rays, a butterfly garden, observation tower, winding boardwalk through coastal hammock and a new sea turtle rehabilitation program.
