Join Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for “Intracoastal Adventures: Advanced Kayaking” on August 11, 2024!

Beautiful scenery, fresh air, and exercise! Explore the Intracoastal shores by kayak while learning about the fascinating mangrove and estuary ecosystems of South Florida.

Participants must have moderate kayaking experience and be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance. Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available. Water bottle, sun protection and water shoes required.

Suited for adults and children ages 7 and up. Parent/guardian must register and participate with minors. Each child under 13 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No child under 13 may paddle a single kayak.

Subject to cancellation due to low registration or severe weather conditions, including high winds or lightning.Refunds given only if program is cancelled by Gumbo Limbo. Advanced reservations are required.
