Join us for the 16th Annual Dr. Eric H. Shaw Concerto and Aria Excellence Concert on February 22, 2024!

This concert will feature the winners of the Dr. Eric H. Shaw Concerto and Aria Excellence in Performance Awards with the FAU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella, and the world premiere performance of the orchestral composition by the winner of the 2nd Annual Dr. Eric H. Shaw Excellence in Music Composition Award. These soloists, chosen through a highly competitive audition, include FAU’s finest. The evening will begin with the energetic Caribbean dance, The Bamboula, Rhapsodic Dance for Orchestra by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.
