Join the Children’s Science Explorium for “Eyes to the Skies” on October 23, 2023!
These FREE, informal events are held in the Camino parking lot behind the Explorium, weather permitting, where we will explore the skies with our professional-grade 16-inch Meade LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
In the case of poor weather, we’ll take a fantastic journey through the sky in our indoor, inflatable STARLAB planetarium.
All children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Recommended for children ages 7 and up.
No registration required! The telescope will be out for at least one hour after the scheduled start time (weather permitting). Stars must be visible for the telescope to align. In the event of poor weather, our indoor inflatable planetarium will be used instead of the telescope.
