Join the FAU Symphony Orchestra for Music that Moves You!
Celebrate the final concert of the season with the FAU Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Laura Joella. This concert will feature one of the most acclaimed and exciting Mexican orchestral compositions, Arturo Marquez’s Danzón No. 2. From the Dominican Republic, the finale from Bienvenido Bustamante’s Concierto para Saxofón Alto y Orquesta, is a colorful merengue featuring FAU’s Kyle Mechmet. Hear the beautiful world premiere of Air and Palpitation, composed by FAU Alumnus, Dr. Trevor James Smith. The concert will conclude with the Russian grand and fiery Symphony No. 2 in B Minor by Alexander Borodin.
