Join Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for “Intracoastal Adventures: Intro to Kayaking” on July 14, 2024!

Not quite experienced enough to confidently make your way through wild, winding, mangrove trails? This program is for you! We provide opportunities to get more familiar and comfortable maneuvering a kayak while enjoying the shallow waters along the edge of the Intracoastal and learning about the mangrove and estuary ecosystems. Must be able to get in and out of a kayak without assistance.

Single/double kayaks will be assigned to couples/groups as available.

Suited for ages adults and children ages 7 and up.  Minors under 18 must sign-up and participate with a registered parent/guardian. Each child under 13 must be accompanied by one parent/guardian, no child under 13 may paddle a single kayak.

• Advanced reservations required through WebTrac.  If you do not have a WebTrac account, please see instructions. 

• Programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or minimum registration.

• Refunds given only if program is cancelled by Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. 

Cost per person:
Resident: $20
Non-resident: $25

A Resident (R) is someone who lives within the boundaries of the City of Boca Raton or the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District.  All others are non-residents (NR).
