Join the FAU Symphony Orchestra for Joy in Motion: Orchestral Dances!
Hear the FAU Symphony Orchestra perform dances from around the world! This concert will feature an orchestral suite of dances from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, highlighting the most colorful and thrilling musical moments from the ballet. The evocative sounds of Claude Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune will also be featured. The evening will begin with the energetic Caribbean dance, The Bamboula, Rhapsodic Dance, for orchestra, Op. 75 by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. Conducted by Dr. Laura Joella.
