Grammy-nominated violinist and conductor Andrés Cárdenes’ first appearance with The Symphonia is a dazzling, sensuous, all-strings program. Two sizzling, virtuosic Italian works by Rossini and Vivaldi will open the concert, which will conclude with Mahler's dark, brooding, and driven arrangement of Schubert’s Quartet in D Minor ("Death and the Maiden").

Please join us for our Pre-Concert Conversation at 2 p.m. (prior to the 3 p.m. concert) at Roberts Theater at Saint Andrew’s School designed to enhance your concert-going experience!

Spend 30 minutes listening to and participating in a fascinating, informative and fun discussion about the composer and the music that will be performed at the concert that day. This conversation will be lead by either the Maestro of the concert or a Guest Speaker.
