Not Your Average Theatre Group will present “The Cigar Arsonist” at Willow Theatre on December 8-10, 2023!

Written by Dr. Fred Kaplan, a local South Florida playwright, The Cigar Arsonist is a hilarious, fish-out-of-water comedy about New York Attorney, Tom Wade, who faces a culture shock of trials and tribulations in a Southern courtroom. When Tom’s frivolous lawsuit turns sour, the southern authorities decide to get some vengeful fun by throwing the book at this Yankee. After striking a deal to avoid jail time, Tom ends up in a psychiatric facility with no release date. He meets an extremely eccentric fellow patient who is more than meets the eye and who later proves to be a good ally. At the same time, an unlikely romance is brewing between Tom and his psychologist.

Performance is 90 minutes plus a 15 minute intermission. Rated PG-13.
