Join the Boca Raton Museum of Art for “To Put the Body in It: Contemporary Peruvian Women Artists” on February 13th!
Discover contemporary Peruvian women artists from various Peruvian regions with Dr. Gabriela Germana, visiting instructor at the University of South Florida. Germana reveals the Peruvian art scene and presents her focus on female artists and how they use the human body to address modern issues. Showcasing artists coming from different circumstances and places, Dr. Germana shares the artists’ artwork as they contemplate issues such as feminist theory, race, ethnicity, identity, and the regime of societal values.
