Join Gumbo Limbo Nature Center for “EcoWatch Lecture Series: On the Cutting Edge of Conservation” on February 7, 2024!

Glimpse the many faces of conservation as experts in their fields share their work, research, and experiences, with the common goal of a more sustainable future. Lectures will be held in the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center Classroom, followed by a visit to our lighted aquariums for a special after-hours viewing of the nocturnal habits of our aquarium residents. Monthly lectures to continue through April. 

“Beach Renourishment and Sea Turtle Nesting Success”

Marine Turtle Specialists Emma Pawlik and Allison Ragle share some exciting data on loggerhead nesting. Brace yourself for some fascinating insights into beach renourishment!

Suited for adults and children 13 and up. Children/minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
